E-Data Master Unit 200 Access Controller

The Master Unit 200 and supporting Door Unit (DU) is capable of interfacing with all standard access control reader systems supporting an RS232, RS485 and Wiegand installation. Supporting a modular design with RS485 communication between modules, the Master Unit 200 provides a scalable solution by simply adding additional Door Units. Up to four Door Units connect to a Master Unit 200 module each supporting two reader connections for a total of eight readers. The Master Unit 200 supports a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection. Multiple Master Unit 200 modules can be administered from a network connected Master Unit 400 module to support an unlimited number of readers. The Master Unit 200 was developed around the stable Linux OS and platform independent JAVA programming language. The integrated web server and embedded access control application allow for easy access and setup via any standard web browser, eliminating the need for additional software while providing a powerful and economical hardware controller solution. The Master Unit 200 supports all standard access reader types: HID proximity HID iCLASS Legic Mifare EM Hitag Smart Card ISO 15693 / ISO 14443A. The Master Unit 200 activity tables are easily accessed via the web interface. All access activity andevents such as access requests and system events are stored in the events log.
